The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Price Guide has released the latest pricing arrangement, impacting various support items and their associated costs. Here’s an overview of what’s new and what has changed:
Price and Name Adjustments:
Numerous support items have seen price increases, reflecting adjustments to costs and market conditions. Additionally, many items have undergone name changes to better reflect their services.
Additions and Removals:
Three (3) new support items have been introduced to better cater to participant needs:
- 10_002_0106_8_3 – Support Coordination Level 2: Coordination of Supports
- 10_101_0106_6_3 – Psychosocial Recovery Coaching – Weekday Daytime
- 15_300_0103_1_3 – Assistive Technology Mentoring
On the flip side, a substantial number of support items, totaling 315, have been removed from the Price Guide. This includes the removal of Transition to Practice (TTP) support items and Legacy Transitional Approach Group support items, contrary to earlier communicated updates.
Price Adjustments:
Out of the remaining support items:
- 178 have experienced price increases.
- One support item, 07_102_0106_6_3 – Psychosocial Recovery Coaching – Weekday Evening, has seen a decrease in price, from $108.31 to $101.42.
Notional Unit Price Alignment:
Five (5) support items have been converted to Notional Unit Price Support Items, each priced at $1, to align with the Notional Unit Price framework.

- 06_182499311_0111_2_2 – HM – Design Consultation with Builder
Policy Changes:
The rules governing Short Notice Cancellations have been updated. The revised Price Guide, available in PDF format, now specifies when ‘7 days’ or ‘2 clear business days’ notice is required for cancellations.
Legacy Items:
26 support items have transitioned to Legacy status, marking them for phased-out use.
