Our fearless leader, Tanya started YPM back in 2014 when she saw a gap in the market for a quality Plan Management Service, offering a personalised approach to unpacking NDIS plans.

With experience managing the operations of both not-for-profit and private companies, Tanya knows how to steer the ship. When asked what her productivity hack is to manage her busy days “Break the day into compartments. Don’t get distracted during your allocated time by something that doesn’t belong there (like emails)”.

Tanya is truly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to NDIS knowledge. With ideas flowing at all hours and a drive like no other Tanya’s favourite way of unwinding is with trashy reality TV. Who doesn’t love a good Netflix binge!

My favourite thing about working at YPM?: The team spirit!

What did you want to be when you grew up? A fashion designer – which I was a long time ago!

One of your favourite memories from the past year? That’s a hard one! Professionally – seeing the team always support each other. Personally – seeing our daughter graduate.

Anna has been with YPM since May 2020, starting her journey in the Accounts and Claims Team and moving into her current role as our Communications & Information Officer. Anna’s productivity hack is: “Split screens are a lifesaver when dealing with multiple tasks at once. Music and coffee help too.”

With strong customer service skills and a background in quality assurance and document control, Anna brings a wealth of knowledge with her. Anna’s favourite thing about working at YPM is “The freedom to create and work collaboratively”.

Anna is known for her professional working manner, graphic design skills, and being the resident vegan.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a ballerina or a chef.

Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)? Dogs. I have a very spoilt red stumpy tail cattle dog that I adore. I’m pathetically allergic to cats.

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? Surfing. I’ve always loved how effortless surf culture is. What’s stopped me? I’m not the strongest swimmer, plus…sharks. But who knows maybe you’ll find me in the white wash at Kirra one day.

Sia is our Senior Administration Officer, with a background in hearing healthcare, Sia values hard work, perseverance, and is always seeking solutions. Her Favorite aspect of working at YPM is the supportive team environment. To unwind after a busy day, Sia enjoys attending Reformer Pilates sessions. Her go-to productivity hack involves setting daily goals, playing background music, and maintaining focus on one task at a time.

Denise has been with YPM since June 2021, working as our Senior Provider Payments Officer. Her productivity hack “Stop multitasking”.

When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM “The difference YPM makes in a person’s life and the flexibility it offers it employees. We have an amazing director who is passionate & inspirational and is committed to our company purpose every day.”

Denise has a way with numbers, forever problem solving, looking at scenarios with an analytical and logical approach, in order to get the right outcome. 

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? Lego is an amazing hobby that all ages can enjoy. It has created a new bond right from young grandchildren, parents, and grandparents alike. I especially like Star Wars Lego – “Do or Do not. There is no try!”

One of your favourite memories from the past year? Spending uninterrupted time with my family during various lockdowns and just having fun with them without the pressures of daily life.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day? Playing with my kids as they always ground me to know what’s important in life

Fernando has been with YPM since March 2020 and is a valued part of the YPM landscape. Working as our Provider Services Team Leader, all at the same time. His multitasking skills are truly second to none, training our Accounts and Claims staff when they’re onboarded and supporting them until they’re confident and making work fun along the way.

Fernando’s productivity hack is “Automation”, working in the background during the day to day to give clients and providers faster more accurate outcomes.

ABBA lyrics are never far away when Fernando is in the office. Always making time for employee enquiries as well as provider and client enquiries. When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM? “We have room to be creative and constantly improve the work we do.”

Describe your job in 3 words: Collaboration – Consistency – Multitasking

One of your favourite memories from the past year? Snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef – unforgettable.

Bernard, “Bernie” has been with YPM since December 2019 and is pretty much part of the furniture in the Provider Services Team.

Known for his dry sense of humour and eye for detail, Bernie is always up for the task, whether it be processing reimbursements, clearing a busy accounts inbox, or submitting claims for approval.

You’re an absolute asset to the Provider Services Team Bernie and we’re so glad you’re with us.

Kyle has brought his skills to YPM as a Provider Services Officer for the past 7 months, finding his role challenging, fun, and constantly evolving. With previous experience as a Security Technician, Kyle values the drive to improve every day. His Favorite aspect of working at YPM is the vibrant culture and the opportunity to collaborate with amazing coworkers. To unwind after a busy day, Kyle enjoys hitting the gym, finding it both rejuvenating and energizing. His go-to productivity hack involves listening to music, which helps him stay focused and motivated. 

Luke has been with YPM since August 2020 and is a key part of the Provider Services Team. When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM “Working with wonderful people”, awww shucks.

A family man at heart, Luke has a knack for helping people with his gentle manner and conversational approach, always finding time during his busy day to talk about the little things that make life fun.

After a busy day, Luke loves to wind down by playing his musical instruments. We do love a good jam sesh!

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? I’d like to learn more about wood carving, especially to use a lathe- it’s like sculpture.

One of your favourite memories from the past year? Taking my daughter for her first kindergarten class

Allanna has been with YPM since January 2022 and is one of our talented Plan Mentors. Her go-to productivity hack is “Listening to music. It helps me concentrate on what I am doing”.

Allanna’s sweet nature shines through in her work, from client and provider exchanges via email to workplace interactions. Allanna won’t hesitate to take on extra tasks, all whilst maintaining high accuracy and consistency when processing claims.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day? Hang out with my friends and family.

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? I would love to get into doing more adventurous things including Skydiving, hiking, and swimming in beautiful places because I need to get out of my comfort zone more.

Alison has been with YPM since March 2021, as a Plan Mentor. Alison has a personable manner and an amazing ability to get a cheesy giggle out of most people with her dry sense of humor. Alison’s favourite thing about working at YPM is “Chatting with Clients”.

Alison’s customer service skills shine after working for multiple airlines for many years. With a strong strong work ethic, always putting the client first above all else, and having a no-nonsense approach to budgeting NDIS Plans, her service really is second to none. Always striving to get positive outcomes for each and every client.

Ashleigh “Ash” has been with YPM since June 2021, in a Plan Support Officer role. Her productivity hack? “I really like to have some music on, that tends to get me pumped up for the day”. So now we know who controls the Google speaker in the office!

Ash’s warm and friendly demeanour is infectious to be around. She has the ability to make you feel at ease and makes work fun, with quality banter. At the same time, Ash’s dedication to the job is over and above, often being thrown ad-hoc tasks that she takes in her stride on the daily.

When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM?: “Being able to help people get the most out of their NDIS plan and being able to work in a team of great people”.

Describe your job in 3 words: Friendly, Flexible, and Rewarding

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day? Take a drive to the beach and just sit down and relax maybe with a drink or two.

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? I would love to get into soccer again, I put it on hold as I hurt myself but would love to get back into it.

Letisha has been with YPM since August 2021, as one of our Plan Support Officers. When asked to describe her job in 3 words “Rewarding, Busy, Teamwork”.

A gentle, kind soul, Letisha’s open and honest communication style keeps our providers and clients in the know when it comes to payment and NDIS enquiries.

Taking her time to provide insightful, well thought through answers. Letisha is often reflecting on her interactions and constantly finding ways to improve her customer service skills. She loves to make an impression and leave clients happy after a call.

What did you want to be when you grew up? Athlete or Sportsperson

Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)? Dog but I have 2 Cockatiels

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? Dragon Boat racing – I love being out on the water and being part of a team sport

Saige is a valuable member of YPM, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to the role of Provider Support Officer. With a background in Production Management for Supported NDIS employment, Saige finds fulfillment in making a meaningful impact at YPM. Her favorite aspect of working here is the welcoming, fun, and motivational team environment that fosters growth and collaboration. To unwind after a busy day, Saige enjoys solving puzzles and taking long walks on the beach, finding solace in these peaceful activities. Saige’s go-to productivity hack involves listening to music, especially tunes from the 70’s and 80’s that inspire and energize.
