Our fearless leader, Tanya started YPM back in 2014 when she saw a gap in the market for a quality Plan Management Service, offering a personalised approach to unpacking NDIS plans.

With experience managing the operations of both not-for-profit and private companies, Tanya knows how to steer the ship. When asked what her productivity hack is to manage her busy days “Break the day into compartments. Don’t get distracted during your allocated time by something that doesn’t belong there (like emails)”.

Tanya is truly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to NDIS knowledge. With ideas flowing at all hours and a drive like no other Tanya’s favourite way of unwinding is with trashy reality TV. Who doesn’t love a good Netflix binge!

My favourite thing about working at YPM?: The team spirit!

What did you want to be when you grew up? A fashion designer – which I was a long time ago!

One of your favourite memories from the past year? That’s a hard one! Professionally – seeing the team always support each other. Personally – seeing our daughter graduate.

Anna has been with YPM since May 2020, starting her journey in the Accounts and Claims Team and moving into her current role as our Communications & Information Officer. Anna’s productivity hack is: “Split screens are a lifesaver when dealing with multiple tasks at once. Music and coffee help too.”

With strong customer service skills and a background in quality assurance and document control, Anna brings a wealth of knowledge with her. Anna’s favourite thing about working at YPM is “The freedom to create and work collaboratively”.

Anna is known for her professional working manner, graphic design skills, and being the resident vegan.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a ballerina or a chef.

Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)? Dogs. I have a very spoilt red stumpy tail cattle dog that I adore. I’m pathetically allergic to cats.

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? Surfing. I’ve always loved how effortless surf culture is. What’s stopped me? I’m not the strongest swimmer, plus…sharks. But who knows maybe you’ll find me in the white wash at Kirra one day.

When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM “The difference YPM makes in a person’s life and the flexibility it offers it employees. We have an amazing director who is passionate & inspirational and is committed to our company purpose every day.”

Denise has a way with numbers, forever problem solving, looking at scenarios with an analytical and logical approach, in order to get the right outcome. 

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? Lego is an amazing hobby that all ages can enjoy. It has created a new bond right from young grandchildren, parents, and grandparents alike. I especially like Star Wars Lego – “Do or Do not. There is no try!”

One of your favourite memories from the past year? Spending uninterrupted time with my family during various lockdowns and just having fun with them without the pressures of daily life.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day? Playing with my kids as they always ground me to know what’s important in life

Fernando has been with YPM since March 2020 and is a valued part of the YPM landscape. Working as our Provider Services Team Leader, all at the same time. His multitasking skills are truly second to none, training our Accounts and Claims staff when they’re onboarded and supporting them until they’re confident and making work fun along the way.

Fernando’s productivity hack is “Automation”, working in the background during the day to day to give clients and providers faster more accurate outcomes.

ABBA lyrics are never far away when Fernando is in the office. Always making time for employee enquiries as well as provider and client enquiries. When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM? “We have room to be creative and constantly improve the work we do.”

Ashleigh “Ash” has been with YPM since June 2021, in a Plan Support Officer role. Her productivity hack? “I really like to have some music on, that tends to get me pumped up for the day”. So now we know who controls the Google speaker in the office!

Ash’s warm and friendly demeanour is infectious to be around. She has the ability to make you feel at ease and makes work fun, with quality banter. At the same time, Ash’s dedication to the job is over and above, often being thrown ad-hoc tasks that she takes in her stride on the daily.

When asked what’s your favourite thing about working at YPM?: “Being able to help people get the most out of their NDIS plan and being able to work in a team of great people”.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day? Take a drive to the beach and just sit down and relax maybe with a drink or two.

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into and why? I would love to get into soccer again, I put it on hold as I hurt myself but would love to get back into it.
